چکیده
Background: Working and living on board merchant vessels often constitute high psychophysical stress for the crews. In this study, current of seafarers is examined by using observation-based subjective measures. Materials methods: The workplaces 70 crew members 11 container ships were analysed evaluated objective instrument situational screening mental workload (SMW-S). addition, standardised interviews carried out with 198 about their subjectively experienced stress. Website Complexity: Objective versus Subjective Measures
Site complexity has been defined both as a single construct and as multi-dimension construct and operationalized in terms of objective measures or user perceptions. In this research, we distinguish between objective and subjective (perceived) site complexity and examine the relationship between the two. Objective site complexity is measured by how varied a website is; subjective site complexity...
متن کاملProblems in using d′ measures to assess subjective awareness
An accurate method of assessing the awareness to primes is crucial to investigations of subliminal perception. In a recent paper, Vermeiren and Cleeremans (2012) contend that traditional measures of prime detection potentially overestimate awareness to the prime. This can lead to wrongly classifying effects as subliminal, since even when primes are detected at chance level, it could be due to f...

Excessive, chronic, and repeated exposure to psychological stress can lead to significant health problems. However, new methods for better coping with stress that could significantly improve health and quality of life, cannot be developed and evaluated without scientifically valid datasets describing the experience of stress in everyday life. In prior research, scientifically valid datasets hav...
